How to reinitiate N.Radio updates in BeoMaster 5 / BeoSound 5

For some reason my N.Radio updates got stuck on 13/2/2020 and I started missing newer stations and some older stations didn’t play anymore. I saw mention of the same problem in several posts but not a real proven solution.

So I contacted B&O Support and the solution appeared to be very simple: go into the Maintenance menu and Delete Databases! After that BeoMaster 5 reboots and starts downloading the complete actual N.Radio database again!

And this worked fine for me: after an hour or so I got 67397 ‘new’ stations re-downloaded from the portal. Some hours later the logos were also present. My failing stations play again now and I see plenty of new stations appearing.

So thanks to B&O Support for their clear,  simple and effective solution 🙂

Hello,

Is it true that B&O stopped updating the N.Radio stations on the BeoMaster5?

If so, is there a way to add/edit stations manually?

The last update was in 2022.

Ich habe dasselbe Problem. Ich habe alles gemacht wie in der Anleitung beschrieben. Es hat die ganze Nacht aktualisiert, aber fie Datenbank bleibt leer. kann man die Datenbank von irgendwo allenfalls hetunterladrn und manuall hinzufügen?
