How to plug an earset 1 home to my Beocom 6000

Hello there,

I purchased a Earset 1 Home for my Beocom 6000. I just cannot and I do not know how to open the cork (or the two?) situated on the top of the phone to put the plug. I do not want to force anything. Does anyone can help me. Thank you in advance. Best.

Only the Mark 2 Beocom 6000 (with the INT button to the left of the circular wheel control) has a headset connection, and there is no need to remove any plugs.

(Some Mk2s are modified Mk1s and do not have the headset socket because it was not part of the modification)

I will attach photos to explain when I get home tomorrow.
