Hoe sluit ik een Beogram 4500 aan op speakers?

Dat is een prima kado! De wat oudere B&O spullen hebben allemaal zulke DIN pluggen. NB – Deze is bedoeld om de platenspeler aan een (non B&O) versterker te verbinden. De speakers dien je dan weer aan de versterker te koppelen. Dit is o.a. nodig omdat je anders geen volume controle hebt.

Het wordt pas echt leuk als je er een BeoMaster 4500 en een B&O afstandsbediening bij neemt natuurlijk :-). Dan heb je trouwens de bovenstaande kabel ook niet nodig. Succes! Groet, Johan

Hi,

Sorry for replying in English.  Which model of speakers are you using please?  In order to be able to connect a Beogram turntable directly to speakers, the speakers need to have their own volume control, as the Beogram doesn’t have any volume adjustment built in.

I can then help with the correct cable to use once the model of the speakers is known.

I’m using this speakerset (with build in volume and bass regulation). It’s originally build as a gaming sounds system, but for me it’s really great.

So I don’t need a separate device to adjust the volume.

Ik heb geen versterker (nodig) aangezien mijn speakerset een knop heeft om volume en bass aan te passen.
Is deze kabel dan ook geschikt om ‘m rechtstreeks aan te sluiten (zie foto voor stekker speakerset)

Thanks for your reply.  In this case, yes you can use the cable that Tignum mentioned in the post above to connect the Beogram 4500 to the RCA input of your volume controlled speakers:-

Is this connector really the only option? Or is it also possible for me to manually replace the plug with a more common plug?

Personally I would never cut the cable. The BeoGram 4500 is a valuable record player, loved by many enthusiasts. It will not be original anymore when you cut the cable and lose a part of its value. Probably more than the price of the cable.

Bedankt voor je advies! N.a.v. jouw berichtje ben ik even naar de Bang&Olufsen dealer in mijn stad geweest, en kreeg daar het advies om de 2 onderste pinnetjes (die met schroefdraad vastzitten) eruit te halen, waardoor het een 5-pins stekker wordt.
Zij hadden een “5-pin DIN to RCA” verloopje te koop, en m’n Beogram 4500 loopt nu als een zonnetje! (zie filmpje)

Hoi Annemiekuhhh,

Je hebt smaak ;). Ik heb ook mijn oog laten vallen op zo’n Beogram. Die moet nog aankomen thuis.

Daarom een vraagje, hoeveel aansluitmogelijkheden heb jij op je beogram? 1 kabel? of nog mogelijkheden. Zo ja, Is het voor je mogelijk om daar een foto van door te sturen?

Komt die kabel op je eerste foto vanuit die voorversterker?

Ik ben me aan het voorbereiden om de mijne zo snel mogelijk te testen op goede werking om de deal af te ronden. Ik had passieve luidsprekers staan omdat ik dacht dat dit vodoende zou zijn voor een beogram met ingebouwde voorversterker maar blijkbaar moeten je luidsprekers zelf een volumeregeling hebben?
