I really think I am at the end of the road with b&o now? EVERYTIME I try to play anything other than B&O radio through the connect core I spend 2 hours pulling my hair out and then giving up! It just will not connect through. Yet on my Halo it still has the same track listed that was playing 3 months ago! I have rebooted everything until the cows came home but it makes no difference at all. With the Beoremote One I just lost control and it all goes to max volume (Bl50) and there is no way to stop it other than disconnect the power!! WTF? This is a horrible, painful experience. And B&O are not interested at all in offering any solutions. So much money spent. On total crap that does not work! What a world away from what this brand used to be?

Hi Beofile7, that is so sad to hear. Often the BL50s get a lot of praise, it cannot be that every BL50 & Connect Core owner has this trouble right? Some forum members do use other devices to drive the BL50s and 90s though.

Is there not some way to escalate beyond your current contacts, I remember there was an option to ‘e-mail the CEO’ on the B&O website. See who responds?

I really hope your trouble will end soon and that you can enjoy the B&O experience as promised ‘High fidelity sound every time, our engineers ensure it.’.

I think almost every BeoConnect Core ever made is under the original B&O warranty.

Take it back to your Dealer, have it services/memory wiped (properly) and with a bit of luck you should be good.

No matter how good we think Masterlink was (implemented across a complex home with multiple sources etc), it did have issues and quality drop-offs. BeoConnect Core/Mozart is the same implementation on a digital domain across a home network. It will have bugs (it shouldnt I agree, but it does) – especially with the platform being Beta-developed over the last 3-4 years. There will be layer upon layer of code written and over-written and there is probably something hanging up in there??

One thing B&O should implement is a hard reset (meaning total wipe of everything back to original flash – not even the so-called factory)

Persist. Its a good clean product when working. Improves almost every loudspeaker in what it does and sounds very good (way better than its price-tag suggests) when USB-ing to BL90s for instance.

Put a record on the platter and press play.

Sorry, couldn’t help it, but I get emails from frustrated owners of newer digital and app-controlled stuff almost daily, and there’s
absolutely no way for me to help them other than suggest moving away from all the unnecessary technical nonsense, that should
work but for some reason doesn’t.
    Back to basics.

No need to apologise Martin Martin. You are dead right. I wish I had never got involved with anything B&O over the last 10 years. I used to have a system that just worked. No issues, ever! Now it is just one after another endlessly!
