    Hi everyone,

Since the 5 mm files are no longer accessible, I decided to design my own. They’re essentially a replica of the original design, but modified to fit 5 mm wooden fessets. I’ve tested them, and they work great!

Feel free to email me at Samuel.Vesterlund@outlook.com if you’d like the files.

Big thanks to @matador for the original design – couldn’t have done it without your work.

For the wood, I used pine from Bauhaus Germany, but they also offer oak if you order it.

    Here are some pictures!

    Hi 🙂

When I put in the files to my AnyCubic 3D printer, it become very small. How many % should I scale it up? Does anyone have same problem?

Common Issue, yes. Documented in the thread. I can’t rememnber right now but it must be like 10%, 100% or 1000% = A multiple of ten.
Again, the size of the final object is shown in the thread: please read it all!

    Hi Tutti Vini,

Wat mooi gedaan, echt prachtig resultaat! Mag ik vragen welk hout je hebt gebruikt? Ik zou graag dezelfde kleur en look willen bereiken als die van jou.

    Bedankt alvast!

Thanks @matador for creating the design, files and Ikea-like manual!

The result is great, see the attachments (if this works, adding images here did not work for me).

    Regards, Wouter

    Dear Matador ,

Great job ! I really like the explanation and the design , already printed the 3D clamps .

Per your instruction the wood lamellas are 4mm thick but the notches on the clamp are 5mm so would the wood be a bit loose ?

    Tnx

Firstly thanks to Matador for the original files and the amazing Scandinavian furniture company style instructions. Fantastic!!

I’ve just been looking at the files myself, they need to be scaled up 10x for those who did not work it out already. The slot width measures about 4.3mm wide in CAD so (depending on 3D print tolerances) should give a slightly loose fit for a 4mm thick wood strip. So not sure why you measure 5mm Guy, I think that would be too big for the 4mm thick wood.

It could be that print tolerances are too high, also in my limited 3D print experience it is a good idea to put a small radius on all sharp edges. 0.5mm should be enough to help give a better print. That could affect the finished part quality and size.

    regards

    Paul
