CD5500 Philips C2103 Capacitor

Hi –

This has been covered before but I will be having a go at replacing the Philips C2103 capacitor which I hope is the cause of the problem with the cd no longer playing on my CD 5500. Just have some questions which I hope could be answered:

1. Is there a specific or recommended replacement capacitor.
2. Is there soldering involved.
3. Advice on how to remove the top cover to access the internals.
