Hello, i have the service manual allready , i know that i need to start test mode. I found the  manual : https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/topic/beosound-9000-no-spinning-test-mode-result/

Test Mode for CD mechanism test. I put the BS9000 in Test Mode with a Beo4 (Shift>9>0>2>5>8) and run #27 to test the CD mechanism.

    BUT.

i don´t know how to set up the Shift on my Beo4. Without this i can´t proceed with the test mode.

    Best regards

Search the old forum and also maybe that one. It is all well documented.

Nevertheless I reckon I keep a Beolink 1000 with “shift” key only for that purpose.

There are several diffent versions of the Beo4 – and also different sw versions.

Here is a list of the possible additional commands to add:
    https://bangolufsenassistentgohe.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/APPS_AND_ACCESSORIES/BEO4_(W.O_NAVIGATION_BUTTON)/beo4_lexicon_english.pdf

However doing like Matador describes – use a BeoLink1000 – makes it much easier.
