BRONZE Memberhello all,
I’m hoping there might be someone out there with a stand for my beovision 10-40.
I believe that the stand is type 4666 and is suitable for both the 10-40 and 10-46 televisions.
its a long shot but if there are any out there in need of a new home please get in touch. I am based in the U.K.
Thanks in advance!

If you are a ‘handyman’ … it should be possible to convert a BV7-32 stand for the BV10-40.
Where I live there are many BV7 stands available and you get them more or less for free (<40£)
You can buy a DIN<>8 PIN micro-fit molex cable or solder one and make a plywood adapter plate yourself.

29 October 2025 at 20:01 #70763 TignumGOLD MemberHi, +1 with Ravsted: check this thread too: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/36445.aspx,
I have a 7-32 stand spare (the 4091 floorstand), but it is in the Netherlands…
I own both stands actually and was curious for the heights.
My BV7-32 stand measures about 87cm (top of the footplate to top of the interface).
My BV10-40 stand measures about 62cm there, with an 8cm gap between footplate and TV.
So using this stand for a 10-40 would actually result in (87-62)+8=33 cm gap! Too much and ugly. Maybe the lower 4092 fits? Or shorten the pole handyman style?

my thinking was not to modify the stand at all.
I got a 10-40 hanging on the wall and a BV7-32 stand. I just placed them next to each other to illustrate how I would make the adapter plate.
I looks a bit like a ghost 🙂 – – but it is Halloween tomorrow – – so…. 🙂
At the top you have 2 holes to bolt it to the original bracket. There is a small cut-out for the hinge.
Put 2 bolts into the TV and slide it into the two cuts/slots at top.
Fasten the bolts and add the additional 2 at the button.
The cut-out at the button ensures the ventilation isn’t blocked.
A small bracket (drawn in grey) determines the tilt as the TV will lean forward by default due to the modified ‘balance point’.
This will put the TV at the original heigh above the stand-base i.e. approx. 8-10 cm.

BRONZE MemberThanks for all of your inventive solutions, I’m not sure if I could realise any of the adapted designs but I am very grateful for the time you’ve taken to help.
out of interest, I know the 10-40 and 10-46 share the same stand but could anyone confirm that the ‘spider’ bracket (good description Tignum) between the tv and stand are also common to both sizes of tv ?
all the best and thanks once again!
