BeoVision 8 40 use with google chrome cast

I have a BEO 8/40 and am currently using it with a google chrome cast to access internet tv stations (Netflix/YouTube etc)

I also have a Beo centre 2 attached with CD/DVD capabilities.

If I disconnect the Centre 2 and just have the tv with the Chromecast will it still work?  I am intending to move the TV only to another location in the house and maybe by some speakers for the Centre 2 to still use it for CD playing.

thank you for your assistance.  I am not currently at the location where the TV is so cannot just try it myself at the moment.

There’s no reason why not. The Chromecast should be connected directly one of the TV’s hdmi sockets hence no interaction with the BC2.

Just one additional thought:  If you can run a masterlink cable between the TV and the BC2’s new location, you will still be able to play the BC2’s music through the TV speakers, which may be useful.
