Hi all!
I have a Beovision 14 40 thats given excellent service since 2016. I powered it off today to swap out an Apple TV, and on powering back up, the TV sits with the green LED lit, and Bang & Olufsen logo on screen.
Have waited 30 minutes, have powered all down, waiting 30, then power up, have tried power up with all cables and connections removed, still the same.
Has something died? It’s a holiday weekend here, so no help from the store until Tuesday!

5 June 2022 at 17:18 #35322To follow up, it seems the onboard android system sometimes does the equivalent of a file system check after a hard reboot. A long wait, and the system is back online!

TV now powers up, green LED lights, nothing happens, no matter how long I wait, hard reboot, removing all cabling etc. I guess time to call the dealer for help! Hope it’s not dead, I really love this TV, the glass really gives the picture the depth and clarity almost as good as OELD!
19 August 2022 at 01:48 #35324Sorry for being late to respond, but I suspect it was waiting for a PIN to unlock. I have a BV14 40 as well and notice that sometimes it doesnt display a screen while waiting for the PIN – perhaps the ultimate in security (if not unintended).
