Beovision 11-55 No Picture

Hi

Last saturday our BV11-55 decided to refuse to power on properly. When Main power is provided the green light goes on and then immediately replaced by red blink as if Pin code is needed. Nothing comes to the screen and the internal and external loudspeakers newer comes on. No reaction to remote control.

Anyone has any experience on what PCB/Capacitors is typically failing on this masterpiece. I think I have ruled out problems with the PSU. Would have been nice if this where the problem. Everything point to Video Engine and I can’t find anything by just looking at the PCB.

I have addressed this to my local B&O dealer but the estimated repair is too high for them to offer anything and I have bought a replacement.

Hope someone has any suggestions so I don’t have to put it to electronic scrap after only 10 years service ;-(
