HeHello, I have just serviced a Beosystem 3500 and lubricated the gears of the cover of the Beocord and BeoGram CD with special lubricant. but its motor still makes a screeching noise. any idea what lubricant I can use for the motor bearings? (so that no plastic parts fail or become brittle. thank you in advance

I suggest you add a small drop of oil to the motor bearing. Usually, the outer (visible) bearing will dry out before the inner, and it’s also the outer bearing that takes most
of the sideways load, so I would start there.
A little sinter/spindle oil would be the choice.Martin
