Beosound A1 Gen 2 Aux input

Has anyone figured out how to send analog audio to the Beosound A1 Gen 2. I want to connect it to a turntable (with built-in RIAA amp) for my daughterm but can’t seem to find any information on whether this is possible.

In the old forum, there was a post talking about why it was difficult, and why various solutions like ADCs and Belkin devices do not work.

Any solutions? Does Steve at Sound’s Heavenly have any magic cables?
