Beosound 5 encore tablestand issue

Dear Forum.

i’m all thumbs – I hope you could help me out🙏
Once I bought a used tablestand in Order to buy a Beosound 5 at a later moment. The moment came and I bought a used Beosound 5 encore. Now I Can’t seem to attach the Encore to the stand. I have tried a lot of different things, but everytime one side is not fitting correctly.
First of all is the ring on the stand attached correctly? I Think I have tried all combinations but maybe I haven’t.

Do you have any pointers How to attach the Encore to the stand?

the plate screwed on the tablestand should be placed as show on the second drawing on p14.
for the rest is wall mounting simular as mounting on a tablestand.

It’s good that you try this first without cables. I’ve destroyed at least one due to incorrectly positing the mounting bracket. The key is to orient the bracket correctly. There are three orientations and @carolpa’s clip from the mounting instructions show which that is correct. If unsure, just test the three (without attached cables), and see. It should be perfect alignment, otherwise it’s the wrong orientation.
