BRONZE MemberSomeone that could help with this problem?
Customer service have send me the manual to restore serial number, but the adress I should open in the browser after connection the computer by wifi directly to the M5 don’t work?
They talk about it could be because that my M5 still are connected to my WiFi (it is, I know), but I have also tried to turn off my WiFi router, so that I’m totally sure that the M5 not are connected to this.
I have tried to reset the M5 by holding the wheel button down in 5 seconds, but nothing happens.

BRONZE MemberHey,
you need to hold one of the small button under the speaker for a good 2 min before it resets (the button closer to the center).
Alternatively, if your speaker is still on your home’s wifi, you can access the M5 control panel by accessing the IP address of the speaker as defined by your router.
Not sure how to retrieve this IP in your setup though… On my side, I have an app that allows me to control my internet box and router and where I could read the IPs of all the connected devices on my wifi.

BRONZE MemberThank you.
Tried to connect directly to the M5 and touch the IP from the speaker, that I could see in my router settings, but the browser can’t find anything.
Should I try to turn off my router or it will remove the IP address I think?
Should I try to make the reset by push the wheel button in 2 minutes, where I so maybe totally reset the network connection?

BRONZE MemberI’m not sure it will remove the IP – but I’m far from being a network expert ๐
I would try the factory reset (with the small button under the speaker – I don’t know about the top wheel button) and do the full procedure as described in the PDF.

I guess you’ll still have to do a factory reset, but you can do it from the panel now ๐

BRONZE Membercheck the Bang & Olufsen app, where you can configure the speaker. I can see you can activate Google Cast there, I suppose that could enable adding it to Home. I’m not sure since I’m not using it within Google Home.
