SILVER MemberEvening all,
I have a new and fairly unformed thought about using the pre-amp output from a Beomaster 5000 (and e.g. connected Beogram 5000) as aux inputs to e.g. a Beosound 3000 or Beocenter 2, therefore greatly increasing the number of connected external sources. I do not have a BM5000 at the moment. My question is this:
Are the pre-Beolink 1000 remote commands for the BS5000 sufficiently different to the later Beolink commands that one could use both systems in one room without conflict? I presume the more complex commands for the later datalink systems would not cause conflicts as they would not be recognised, but what about the simple commands like Standby, Volume +/- etc.?
I like the idea of being able to control the Beosystem 5000 with its MCP5000 or Terminal 5000 while separately controlling a Beosound 3000 and ML system with a Beo4, but conflicting commands would make that impractical.
Thanks as ever!
