BRONZE MemberHi there,
On my Beosound 5 / Beomaster 5 when playing a CD it goes on “pause” after a track. This happens not on every CD. Has anybody got the same experience? Are there things to set?
Thanks in advance for helping me out,
greetz, Joris
(thanks Guy for tip on changing subjects title)

Sorry cannot help you here – I don’t own a CD drive for the BS5. Hope others can.

BRONZE MemberHi Johan,
It seems that I was not sufficient in my question: I meant actually that, when playing a CD from my music server (i.e. Beomaster5 HDD/SDD), some tracks are unintendedly going on PAUSE.
Perhaps someone recognizes this?

Joris

The ‘CD’ in the title also confused me!
I think you can edit your thread title (click ‘EDIT’ and amend the ‘topic title’ box) if you think it may improve the forum responses, maybe something like ‘Beomaster 5 pauses between tracks during HDD/SDD album playback’

BRONZE MemberThank you Guy. I’ve changed it immediately!

For example a DSF is transfered to a PCM format and the proces to do so is to slow. Or all music files are transfered to 24bit 96kHz and the proces of transfer is to slow.

BRONZE MemberHi Carolpa, interesting theory! I will take a look at the fileformats to see if there are differences.
Thanks you for your replying.
