In test-mode press 7 to delete RAM settings and revert to defaults.
Service manual page 7-2 and 7-3 describes it.

Did you try the method stated in the service manual?

Hello, i serviced a bm4500, also replaced the battery in the processor box with a battery and a fresh battery. Everything works, exceptbthat it serms that you must re-program it ( little bit like BC9500) but the key combinations for bc9500 dont work. Inset it in mode 1 with a beolink 1000. I can not store volume treble and bass settings. (S/W is version 1.6)

I serviced a beomaster 3500, after i set it in mode 2 everything works perfect. I did test the bm with the beolink 7000 and no communication.
the volume changes and gi then with a letter from the alphabet but not to zero… Can somebody give me the key combination? Before i changed the battery, everything worked perfectly. I replaced the battery prevently against future leakage.

              thank you in advance
