I think this problem must be being caused by my BLC so I’ve out it in this forum, but I could be wrong.

I have happily been usign my setup for a while now, connected via a BLC which is in V Master mode:

    NL Side:
    Beovision 11-46, in Opt. 2
    Beosound Momeent

    ML Side:
    Beosound 9000 Mk2, in Opt. 0
Beosound 5 in Audio Slave mode

I was messing aound with changing the audio options on my Beosound 9000 yesterday (experimenting for a potential new multiroom connection), but when I finished, I put it back to Opt. 0.

When I next tried to listen to an audio source however, my TV came on, said ‘Connecting’ for a moment, and then went back into standby.  Video sources worked fine, but all audio sources caused this behaviour.

I switched everything off at the mains to ‘reset’ it, switching the BLC on only after everything else was switched on.

Things improved, but it’s not back as it was.  Now, in order to play an audio source via remote, I have to press the source button twice.  If I press CD for example, the TV comes on, but after a moment it says STOPPED (top left).  If I press CD again, it starts playing.

This is annoying as I usually control music via a Beo6, which means I have to press the source, then press back to go back to my sources screen, then press the source button again.

I can only assume the problem is caused by the BLC, but I did not change any of the settings in the BLC’s web interface.

Side note – if I start to play a CD by pressing a CD button on the BS9000 directly, that works fine.  It’s only when using remote control I am having this issue.

Sorry to bump the post, but I still haven’t solved this, and it’s frustrating because it used to work fine.

I’ve tried many things now – I tried changing my BS9000 to Opt.1 instead of Opt.0, I’ve tried changing my Beolink Converter ML Role from ‘V.Master’ to ‘Source Centre’ or ‘A.Slave’ (although V.Master always worked in the past), I’ve tried disconnecting the power and reconnecting everything in various different sequences, but I’m stuck with the same problem – whenever I select an ML audio source (CD, Radio, N.Music, Aux), my Beovision 11 Powers on, shows the source in the centre of the screen, but then after a moment says ‘STOPPED’ in the top-right of the screen.  If I hit the source button again on my remote, the source then plays.

It’s so frustrating that it worked fine for a long time but then suddenly this weird behaviour started happening.

what I would do to investigate your mishap:

disconnect the BS5 and Moment (or switch it off)
switch off the product integration of the BLC in the BV11 (delete the BLC)
    (re)set the BLC as VMaster
be sure the BLC is not connected primary/secundary to another product then itself
on the BLC Configuration page: (re)set the sources to be linked
on the BLC IR mapping page: (re)set the IR commands (be sure there is no second source set as CD in the BS5 and/or Moment)
re-add the BLC as primary product linked to the BV11

try to start the BS9000 CD with the BV11 remote

    note: BV11 option 2 – BS9000 option 0 (no speakers connected) as set/described

Thank you Carolpa, that worked.  I did exactly what you said in exactly that sequence.  At first the problem continued but then I realised I had forgotten to put the devices back into the Connect To (primary) and Connect To (secondary) options on the BLC settings.  Once I did that, it worked.

In case anyone has a similar setup, this is what works for me:

    BV11-46

    • Both my Beolink Converter and Beosound Moment are added under Product Integration in the menu.
    • The TV is set to Opt. 2
    • All sources are set to the buttons I want to use for them, including the Beosound Moment set to A.Mem

    Beosound Moment

    • Set to use TV speakers in the menu

    Beosound 9000

    • Set to Opt. 0

    Beosound 5

    • Set to A.Slave mode

    Beolink Converter

    • Config/Settings tab – ML Enabled with the role set as V. Master.  Connect To (primary) is set to BV11-46, Connect To (secondary) is set to Beolink Converter
    • Config/Experience Mapped to NL tab – Radio, CD and N.Music ticked as Enabled, no other sourced ticked
    • Config/IR Mapping tab – CD, Radio and A.Aux set to Beolink Converter,  A.Mem set to Beosound Moment, all video sources set to BV11
