Hi there,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to connect a set of four Beolab 8000’s in such a way where it will work with a Beosound 9000 for listening to music and also with a conventional home theater receiver with pre-amp outputs. Is there a clean way to switch between modes which can be automated?

I am afraid, the best would be:
- put all Beolab 8000 to the AVR, that could work quite good
- inject Audio out ( from the the powerlink or even via a masterlink cable or device?) to your AVR
- if AVR is built well, it will prevent to power the screen
- all in one integration might be difficult
I do indeed run Beolab 8000 on such an AVR, using self-built 12v->5V trigger and cables, that at least integrates the beolabs quite into the AVR well
To Beosound 9000, a Masterlink Beolink Active might be a solution, to extract the line out and feed into AVR, but you might need to control the AVR, AND the Beosound 9000
