After having made the by-pass wire for the T2 transformer and concluding it worked properly again …

I today put the PSU/AMP block back in the speaker casing, and connected the speaker panel. So back to the original configuration.

Having done some tests, and using the system for a few hours; it’s properly alive again!

Special thanks to: Beobuddy, Dillen and Die Bogener!

To make this thread complete, here’s a picture of the by-pass wire correcting the broken trace.

I have a BeoLab for repair in which the red light came on, changing shortly to yellow. I pulled the speaker apart and repaired one of the tracks leading to the relay – a common problem with the outer track. I reassembled it all and now the red light comes on and stays on, but on connecting an input, nothing comes from the speakers. The fact that the red light comes on indicates to me that the + and – 15v supplies are present

I couldn’t hear relay RL1 operating, which would mean there is no + and – 50V. The diagram doesn’t show where connection A5 goes – presumably to ground?

Before I pull it all apart again, hopefully someone could point me in the right direction for the next steps.
