Beolab 50 set up with non-B&O

Hello everyone, I was wondering, how did you (BL50 owners), set the default volume on the speakers when connected to a non-b&o processor/surround system?
I’ve set mine to max (90) and I’m wondering whether that is best way to maximize audio quality.
