I have a system consisting of Beosound 3000, a pair of Beolab 3, a sub Beolab 11 and a linkspeaker Beolab 3500. I use a Beo4 to control the units.
However, the Beolab 3500 is not responding to the remote anymore. I do not have a clue whether it is the Beolab 3500, the Beo 4 or the master link cable that is malfunctioning.
Does anybody have ideas about what could be the problem?

21 August 2023 at 08:11 #48362Good morning and welcome to Beoworld!
Perhaps the Beolab 3500 is in L.OPT 0, which is a setting where it will not respond to IR commands. To resolve this, turn the system to to standby/off. Then, in the BL3500 room using the Beo4, press the POWER button and LIST together. Then press LIST until OPTION is shown, press GO (centre button), and then press LIST to show L.OPT. Then press 6. The screen on the Beolab should then show the option that you have selected. Then try the remote again.

22 August 2023 at 11:59 #48364Try pressing Menu, 0, 9, GO to see if Masterlink is on or off.
If it is off you can change the setting with up or down arrows and accept with GO
You can also try to see if there is a Masterlink error by pressing Menu, 0, 2, GO.
This will either show NO ML, ML ON or ML error 1-4
