BRONZE MemberHi everyone,
I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’m having with my Beolab 19 and SoundSend.
My setup is:
- Beosound Core → optical/TOSLINK → SoundSend
- 2 × Beolab 18 – Front L/R
- 2 × Beolab 8 – Rear L/R
- Beolab 19 – Subwoofer
The Beolab 18s and Beolab 8s work perfectly via WiSA. The Beolab 19 is detected by SoundSend and shows as connected, but I get no sound at all from the 19.
I’ve tried quite a few things:
- Bass Management ON
- Followed Lithe Audio’s recommended SoundSend subwoofer settings
- Tried both the newer blue SoundSend app and the older pink app
- Temporarily removed the Beolab 8s and tested with only the Beolab 18s + Beolab 19
- The Beolab 19 still connects but produces no sound
I’m wondering whether the issue could be related to the optical output from the Beosound Core, or how SoundSend is handling the bass/subwoofer signal.
I’m also wondering whether my Beolab 19 firmware/software might need updating. Does anyone know how to check the firmware version on a Beolab 19, what the latest version is, and whether there have been any firmware updates relating to WiSA/SoundSend or subwoofer functionality?
I have a Beolab Transmitter 1, but unfortunately it is currently away being repaired, so I can’t use it to test the 19 at the moment.
I know other people have successfully used Beolab 18 + Beolab 19 with SoundSend, so I’m trying to understand what might be different with my setup.
Any advice or experience with Beolab 19 + SoundSend, particularly where the 19 connects but produces no audio, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
