BRONZE MemberHi
Upon recaping BG8000 PCB I spoted a broken resistor at R25, it is snap in half.
I presume its better to replace it but I wonder what function does it have.
As a side note the lamp at the tracking sensor is dead and the arm does nt move more than a few cm in the plater without returning to the starting point… is there any connection with this broken resistor ?
Any information its very welcome
Kind regards
Vasco

ModeratorThe resistor works in the circuit providing a slower forward towards the lead-in groove.

Hi Martin, maybe not the right place, but do you know if i can interchange the transformator from a beolab 1700 into a beocenter 1400 ?

If it was the wrong voltage selected (over-voltage) I would replace the power supply components as well. The caps in any case.

BRONZE MemberThe beolab1700 is type2605 , and the Beocenter 1400 is type2604 , or do you mean the type of transformer?
