Hi , I have a chance to pick up a beogram 6000 turntable….model 5751….I know next to nothing about this model except that it had a very short production run I think in the early 1980`s….I am familiar with the beomaster 6000 etc but this deck does not seem to match up lookswise etc…wonder if anyone out there has any info on this model…was it a good deck or one to avoid etc ? It comes with a mmc20cl cart which I believe is ok but the actual TT is one I have never come across before….any opinions etc most welcome….my thanks in advance for any replies.

It’s a development of the Beogram 2402 that added Datalink for use with a suitably equipped Beomaster. More details oN beocentral here: https://beocentral.com/beogram6000-1980s

As Tim says, on the site, it’s a bit of an oddity, but still a decent deck, especially with an MMC20CL. I’d be buying it!

Hi and thankyou for the reply…it actually comes with a mmc20EN, not the CL, my mistake….it was just that it was a model I had not come across before and wondered if it was one to go for or avoid……..but thankyou for your advice…..always appreciated……..
