BRONZE MemberHi
it’s been a long time since my last post here 😀
Well, just got a Beogram 2000 which was very sick… with totally blocked motor (fixed easily, I became quite an expert in this exercice 😂)
Now it’s running really good but I have a problem I can’t solve: at the end of the disc, the arm starts to come back just a little bit before lifting up 😓😱… then it lifts and come back correctly : this is terrific for the stylus and the disc.
Does anybody now how to solve this ?
Maybe I have the answer in the coming sentence : the arm is moving a lot at its base, I believe it comes from there but I don’t know how to reduce this that movement, ..

BRONZE MemberJust got the arm correctly adjusted (like my other Beogram)…but I still have no solution, no idea: arm returns back a little bit before lifting 😭

BRONZE MemberTry to take off the cam wheel and clean it thoroughly with water and soap and/or isopropylalcohol. All the levers should move freely including the cobber ones. There should be NO grease or oil on it.
That has helped me more than once.1 February 2026 at 17:25 #73024guigui37
BRONZE MemberI was going crazy… then I read your post.
Removed the cam wheel… dropped it in my ultrasonic cleaner with detergent and heat…
Dried it…
Got it back … and the dream came true 😃😃😃😃
So happy, the turntable runs like a brand new one !
So many thanks for you help.
The cam wheel was not looking greasy but yes it required to be deeply cleaned… basically.
Many many many thanks again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
