Hi everyone, I’m reassembling a B&O 1800 (5811) turntable recovered without arms, Since then I’ve found an arm but I don’t have the match of the red and white wires of the DIN socket at the cartridge connector. Does anyone have this information? Thank you for your help.

A handrule is that the “warmest” color is always right.
If your cable has red and white, red is right and white is left.

Thank you Martin, but in this case the case is more complicated because the wires between the cell support and therefore inside the arm are made of thin copper covered with varnish like self wire, so there is no reference to know in which direction to connect them, only a wire, the ground wire of the arm is identifiable with an ohmmeter. On the cell side, we measure both coils, but we don’t know which one is red and which is white.

You should be able to find out the other leads as well using an ohmmeter / continuity.
