CD does not spin. Laser replaced with no result. Any good ideas?

Does it start to spin and then stop – is there any rotation?

It could well be a problem with capacitors.

No nothing happens exet for a sligt hum when I push cd button. Have also replaced all capacitors at the pcb.

Do you have a remote, and if so does it work when you use a remote?  Does the FM radio work?
