I have the chance of buying a used BC6-26 for 7Euros, but no garantie that it is working and no possibility to test it on site
Only reason for me to pick it up would be if it has the radio module fitted which is not in the one I already have.
is there anyway to see if the radio module is fitted without turning it on?
the Antenna plug is fitted, but that is also the case on my BC6 without the radio module
13 April 2023 at 17:54 #45735Because the radio module was not a standard fit on the BC6-26, I would suspect it would be added to the label on the rear alongside ‘Acc’. My BC6-26 had no radio, and only showed ‘DVT’ under Acc.
Of course this won’t help if it’s a retro-fit. Perhaps the radio module can be seen through the rear casing but you’d have to know what you are looking for!

BTW my own says FM on the label, but I think that my father might have got it without at a discount when he bought it at the B&O employe sale
13 April 2023 at 21:27 #45737I just remembered that the type label is under the speaker grill/fret, not ‘on the rear’ as I said in my post. Best to get it right if trying to ask the seller where to look!
14 April 2023 at 14:12 #45738Ok, so it said DVT, so I ended up not buying it. But thanks again for the info, could be usefull if I find another one at a good price.
