Hello, I own a Beolab 3500 since year 2002. It always worked fine. In the last days I heard horrible sounds coming from it.
So I opened the two front panels and realized that the right-side cone has the pneumatic suspension broked (missing a part).
Now I have two questions for you, B&O Enthusiasts:
a) better replace both cones, or just the broken one?
b) where to find the spare parts?
Thank you all for your replies

There are also replacement drivers on UK eBay, both second hand and ‘new old stock’, but both appear to be quite expensive.

14 January 2025 at 10:33 #62599Hello everyone,
I just got a brand new woofer, and I already replaced the broken one on the left side.
The new woofer works great, but now no sound comes from the right side of Beolab 3500.
What could be the cause?
Maybe when I reconnected the beolab 3500, the master link plug was not properly plugged?
I will check it out…
14 January 2025 at 19:06 #62617Check suspension on the other side speaker: maybe if you replace one woofer but not the other insignificant discrepanthy have become significant.
If you replaced both, it just may be a loose connection.
Also, dumb assumption but you know sometimes, check Balance settings.
Low chances it will be the ML plug.
15 January 2025 at 09:12 #62682Thanks for your reply. I tried to connect the Beolab 3500 to another cable, and it works properly.
At this point, I do believe there was something wrong in the Master Link plug
