Andrew Holmes
BRONZE MemberHi. this is a warning for anyone out there. i have had a problem with audio-origin regarding his cartridge repair service. i sent him 2 mmc4 cartridges and paid a large sum of money. 6 weeks have passed and i have received nothing in return. worse still, there has been no return of items or refund, no contact through his gmail, ebay account or his website and the website contact phone number is disconected. just silence!
my questions are, has anyone else has had the same issue with this company recently? has anyone knowledge of what might have happened recently with this company or the guy running it? it’s strange as there was no indication this was going to happen and the reviews are good(even on here).
due to my issue with this company, i urge anyone else in the uk looking at this service to hold on for the time being until some information and clarity is acheived. i don’t want anyone else losing cartridges and money to this guy.
thankyou everyone.

BRONZE MemberSimilar experience here. I hope someone can help Andrew!
I bought a belt kit from AO a few weeks ago. Nothing showed up. I chased by email without a response. PayPal has since refunded me.
AO seems to be an established name when it comes to retipping and I was very surprised to receive radio silence.
I assumed something may have happened and went looking for other experiences. I found Andrew’s post above, and negative feedback on eBay, and was concerned to hear about the dead telephone number.
@Andrew Holmes, I hope there is some redress for you and that someone on here may know the chap at AO and be able to find out if, for instance, something has happened to him and how you might be able to get your MMC4s and money back! -
