Some of the incompatibilities might explain some of the anomalies that we get when experimenting with older MCL equipment and mixing sensors from different eras. I will have to be more careful in future, especially with MCL2AV! I didn’t know about the sensor hardware (PCB) modifications, and have never heard of the battery backup before.
