BRONZE MemberHi there – apologies if this question has been asked, I couldn’t find a specific thread – but when wiring up a junction box (the small one) to join two ML cables do I need to strip the individual wires back to the cable or when using the push tool should the wires still be sheathed?
hopefully that makes sense!

25 January 2026 at 12:44 #72814 GuyModeratorThe inner wires should still be sheathed – the metal that grips the cable should cut through this sheath as the cable is pushed into place.
EDIT: I have attached the junction box instructions because I am not sure whether we have them in the library.
