I believe I’ve seen somewhere a description of adding a switch to one of the MCL lines to disconnect a unit cleanly.
Related to the accessorie, I was happy to find this desktop mount for the ‘oblong’ transceiver (in this case a white one) some years ago. I think it looks quite nice sitting on an angle.
