SILVER MemberHi,
I bought a Beovision AV9000 that is in excellent condition. The previous seller was a collector and took a lot of care in his units. The TV was professionally dismantle from the VCR/sound part, very well packed and stocked.
I remove the packaging to test the unit. I download the installation manual but I wanted some feedback in installing the TV on the sound system. Do I need to just “put” it on top of the sound system and use simultanously the 2 levers as I the reference manual ? Are there any guide to be sure to be corretly aligned ?
Are there 2 different color model for this Beovision ? Mine does seem to have a darker blue than the pictures I found on the Internet.
Last but not least, is there a way to clean the aluminium stand ? It has some marks and could benefit from the right cleaning.
Very kind regards,
Sergio

SILVER MemberI was able to do it almost alone (the bigbosswifey helps me targeting the holes when I was moving the TV). It was heavy but I did it and it fits perfectly. It was a breeze to secure by pushing the 2 handles simultanously.
The TV is working, at least in got the picture. I am able to play with the menu. I need to plug a console to test it. I notice a buzzing sound that seems to come out of the back of the TV. It stop when I remove the plug. What could it be ?

SILVER Memberthe buzzing sound is quite annoying. It doesn’t seem to come from the speaker, but from the bottom of the TV. I will remove back cover and try to locate the origin of the sound.
I got the service manual from the site but the scan is not very good and the list of mechanical parts is unreadable. I can do a high res scan if someone send me the manual ๐

GOLD MemberThe manual library on site is not yet fully updated. But if you contact @multicare I am sure Mark will look if any other AV9000 documents are available
Also I recently found a servicemanual on Archive.org that among a lot of MCL2 link equipment also cover the Audiokit for AV9000.
