New to all this. Came across a beomaster 3000-2 in an attic, was boxed and appears mint. But no manual .. joined this sight especially for manual .. click on pdf and it is not the same model ? The image and specs are correct .. but linking to Manuals it pops up a newer model.

There is a manual available – I scanned it in on the old Forum! I probably have a copy though looking for the DVD drive at present!! Keith should have it on file – This is B&Os fault for giving completely different devices the same number!!  I am sure we can get this changed.

    Is this it?

EDIT:  In case that link doesn’t work, I got it from the bottom of this page by selecting the Type 2402 manual (which I though is the -2 version) – there is also a circuit diagram listed separately: https://beoworld.org/beomaster-3000-1969/

Thank you so much for your reply. I did find the manual for the 4000 that seems similar. The 3200 is Such a beautiful thing. Seems to work beautifully with an old pair of NAD 20 speakers. But I know nothing and really don’t want to hurt it.

The BM3000 is an excellent machine – was the mainstay for a while and the final iteration of this design, the 4400 was probably the best balanced receiver they made. The 8000 was more powerful and had a fantastic performance but was gigantic and was a real statement piece which really only worked as a whole system (in which it was fantastic) but was hard to fit sensibly in most environments! I have had two of these systems and have sold them both preferring a more elegant BM4400 and BG4000 system.
