RichCBRONZE MemberJust had the problem out of the blue of buzzing and not connecting when pushing the button . Took the base off and noticed th contact breaker for the lower orange arm in particular here was buzzing and sparking but not holding together. Nothing obvious so guess it’s just showing its age. Is there aquick fix? Or at least, a diagnosis from you experts please? I’ve another b&o deck so it’s not the end of the world, but would be nice to fix it I can?

I’m looking for a service manual/ schematic to see what rating the diode is…
Where will I find it? Forum says not found15 December 2022 at 22:08 #41497 Mark-sfBRONZE MemberWhile you are at it I would also replace that cap.
5 January 2023 at 11:09 #41498 RichCBRONZE MemberThanks and pleased to say the diode replacement solved the problem. However I must have done something else as the turntable is always spinning . It does not stop when the tonearm parks.
I’m scratching my head with this problem. Can anyone suggest the solution please?
