BeoSound 9000 MK3 + Klipsch The Sevens via Powerlink to RCA – No Sound

Hello everyone,

I am trying to connect my BeoSound 9000 MK3 to a pair of Klipsch The Sevens powered speakers.

My setup is:

BeoSound 9000 MK3 Powerlink output
→ Sounds Heavenly 5-pin DIN to twin RCA Powerlink compatible cable
→ Klipsch The Sevens RCA input (set to LINE mode)

The BeoSound 9000 is working normally and CDs play correctly.

The Klipsch The Sevens are also working correctly with other sources.

However, I get no sound at all through the Powerlink connection.

I have tested both Powerlink sockets on the BeoSound 9000 with the same result.

My questions are:

1. Should this setup work directly with a BeoSound 9000 MK3?
2. Do I need a Speaker Sense Adapter?
3. Is there any Option Programming required?
4. Is there anything else I should check?
