CharlieWednesdayGOLD MemberMy Beovision 11-46 has only been used for watching external sources before now, but I decided to connect an aerial to it and tune in the DTV channels, because I realised that the DTV service would also give me BBC Radio stations. I can get BBC radio stations on my Beosound 9000, but not all of them – Radion 6 for example is not broadcast on FM, only on DAB.
I tuned the TV and saw both TV and Radio stations appearing as they were found, then I stored the tuning, but once I go to the guide, I can only find TV channels? The BBC radio stations should be channel number 700 onward, but those channels don’t show in the guide – it stops at 699 (an adult TV station!). So, only TV channels are showing in the guide, no radio stations at all.
I’ve tried looking through the settings for favourites, groups, channel lists and so on, but I can’t seem to find a way to access the radio stations. In the user guide it says that you can add a radio station to a group but you have to select the radio station first in order to get that menu option – as I can’t tune in to any DVT radio stations, that’s not possible.
My other (Sony) TV shows radio station up in the high channel numbers (700 and above), but they are missing on my Beovision 11-46, even though I could see they were found during the tuning process. Any ideas?

EDIT: Mine would appear to behave as shown on page 6 the DVB-HD User Guide here: https://bangolufsenassistentgohe.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/APPS_AND_ACCESSORIES/DVB_HD/dvb-hd_userguide_english.pdf

I had assumed that would activate the radio in my Beosound 9000 (connected via a Beolink Converter NL/ML) but it did in fact activate the DTV radio channels.
I’ve added the unused N.Radio button as the button to select that source, and set that the same in the IR mapping on the BLC, so now I now have ‘Radio’ as a source for my Beosound 9000 FM/AM tuner, and ‘N.Radio’ as a source for the DTV radio stations.
This allows me to listen to BBC Radio 6 Music without any need for using my phone and Chromecast audio, so it’s a winner! Thank you.

Another advantage of Freeview (or Freesat) Radio is typically higher bitrates than DAB/DAB+, at least according to this link: https://www.astra2sat.com/british-radio/uk-digital-radio-bitrates/
