  • Re: BeoLink PC2 - Configuration Question

Wow - I think I may have answered my own question, but even without the BeoLink PC2 powered up, just simply plugging in the masterlink cable causes the system to fail and the BeoLab 3500 to go into standby - it means very odd because no power is applied to the BeoLink PC2

  • BeoLink PC2 - Configuration Question

Hi, Sorry for creating a new thread when I know at least one exists for a BeoPort PC2 question, but I thought this questions was a little different and therefore starting a new thread about it. I have just purchased a second hand BeoPort PC2, model 1672, which I am concerned could be broken but to check I just wanted to check that the Masterlink set-up was correct because when the BeoLink PC2 is plugged into the Masterlink system everything else that was previously working stops. My dealer is unsure

  • Re: Beolink gsteway received

Received my Beolink Gateway last night. Only just started to set it up but the interface is much cleaner than the old one but does take a little bit of getting used to. So far only just added rooms and assigned the products to them. For Network link products its very easy, turned on my BV11 and the gateway finds it straight away plus reads the sources from it and sets them up for you. Didn’t quite get it perfect and doesn’t seem to have Webmedia support. Masterlink products again, turn

  • Re: Beolink App

Correct, two way is coming, I asked my dealer if two way feedback from the Beolink devices would be added, he didn't know but said he raised the request with B&O. I wanted to use the BLGW to change lighting when turning on sources either using the App or remote control. The way I see it was turning on TV would dim the lights and close the blinds say.

  • Re: MLGW and Somfy Blinds transmitter

Hi, I had the same issue with Somfy blinds and controlling them using the Beolink Gateway. I found this online and thought I would give it it try because it was significantly cheaper than the Somfy RTS transmitter. http://www.uk-automation.co.uk/products/RFXCOM-RFXtrx433E.html I worked very well with the enclosed software but I could not get it to work at all with the BLGW, maybe a better person than me may be able to reverse engineer the commands that the software sends the transmitter. As a solution

  • Re: Atlona matrix anyone?

The key is to allow the older BeoVisions to control any source on the matrix in a similar way to controlling PUC sources using a Beo4/5/6 remote. It does work very well, my only complaint is that everything has to be powered up because the Power commands are not passed to the products, like when swapping sources on the TV itself. You can, I guess, control the matrix without the key but would have to have an Atlona IR eye mounted on the TV to send the control codes back to the matrix, I wondered if

  • Re: Atlona matrix anyone?

Hi, Just added a matrix to my system before Christmas and paid my dealer £200 for the activation key for the BV10. Quite a lot of cash for a small number which he entered on the TV for me. The matrix does work very well and the picture quality excellent

  • Re: beolab 3500 with wireless 1 ML link: CD-128

Hi Daniel, I've seen this too with my old BL3500 speaker, I do not have Beolink Wireless but its connected via cable. Turning the power off to the speaker resolved the issue but it occasionally returns, how often do you witness the issue. My dealer had never heard of the problem when I asked him. Steven

  • Re: BeoLink Gateway new software

I updated to the latest version of the firmware for the BLGW and can confirm that the detection of status from NetworkLink products has been included and it an excellent addition to the features of the gateway. It can be used to trigger macros, such has turning on a product, changing source, setting the volume etc... very very useful.

From the gateway: Improves Remote Access stability. Adds status events to NetworkLink products. Improves overall stability and corrects several minor errors. Nest driver: Adds support for NEST setups with more than one home. Adds NEST protector support. Adds rush hour support. Reduces status update latency. So a couple of things that look interesting for me, NEST Protect will be interesting. I have these at home so wondering what the integration will provide in terms of functionality. But more important
