• Re: Help - power and aux buttons not working on BS9000

Do you know anyone else local to you with a BS9000? - if you could try your keyboard on another machine it would determine whether it is the keyboard that is at fault or the main unit. From looking at the circuit diagram, if it is not the keyboard it will almost certainly be either the contact rubber (part no 3333021) or PCB13 (part no 8005313) at fault. I wouldn't expect either of these parts to be particularly expensive as there is not much to them, although obviously there will be a certain

Ok, so looking at the diagram, what all these buttons have in common is that they are connected to the line marked 'P81-2'. First thing to check: please remove the keyboard from the BS9000 and have a look at the soft silicone rubber type strip inside the keyboard recess (left hand end if you have the BS9000 mounted horizontally) - this is what the contacts on the rear of the keyboard make contact with. Check whether there are any visible signs of damage or a buildup of dirt or debris which

  • Re: Avant rf 32 dvd

I'm not sure if the tubes are still available from the dealers so you would need to check, but I know some years ago the cost was upwards of 600GBP so depending on where you are in the world it may be cheaper to purchase another used Avant than to repair the one you have

Hi ciotera Are you sure ALL of the other buttons work? Specifically you need to check the 'PAUSE', 'TUNE', and 'RADIO DOWN ARROW' buttons as they share the same line as the 'STANDBY' and 'AUX' buttons according to the diagram below (from the mk3 service manual). If these buttons still work, I would be fairly confident that replacing the keyboard would resolve the issue, but if these three buttons also do not work it is more difficult to say whether the problem

  • Re: BV 7-40 & Youview/Humax

Hi Keith, Please do report back if you try the DTR-T1010 as I am also considering this box. I have discovered a couple of things whilst researching this box:- 1) It is apparently identical to the previous youview box (model DTR-T1000) as far as the hardware and software are concerned (the case has had a significant makeover though), so maybe worth checking whether the dealer has a PUC listed for that model if they are not yet showing anything for the DTR-T1010 2) The box will not output properly

  • BeoSound 9000 software version

My BS9000 mk3 shows software version 3.4 on the product label. I note from Keith's list that the latest version is 3.42 and this is also the version that is shown in the MLGW product compatibility document as being required for SOURCE COMMAND from ML (With listed software version (or newer), product can be controlled from MLGW through ML by simulated IR control) Are 3.4 and 3.42 one and the same or will I need to upgrade in order to enable this functionality?

  • Re: LinkPlayer download

Firstly, this is my first post so I'd just like to begin by saying hello!
I'd love to be corrected but it seems pretty clear that Phil doesn't seem interested anymore. He's taken taken everyone's money - linkplayer was very expensive - and has now lost interest and is not updating it or fixing the bugs. Sad.
I understand your frustration but I think that's rather harsh - I'm not sure how many copies have been sold, but as someone
