• Re: BeoVision 11 (Story developing)
Electrified If you had read my post in context (or at all), you might have noticed that I was responding to the concern that Playmaker and ATV offer somewhat different file support. Any player can play a WAV file. With Max, you can rip to multiple file types to multiple locations. So there is plenty of reason for those who want to do something correctly, one time, to consider the process I use....or not. But for you to say there is no reason is, in fact, inaccurate
Because NAS storage is so cheap, I now use Max (there are many options here) to convert CD's to WAV files for storage while simultaneously putting a lesser file on my computer for iTunes synching. But now using Spotify 50% of the time at home, 99% of the time when not. Times are a changing.
There is absolutely no reason to use wav (or aiff) since you can use a lossless format (yes, it actually is lossless), and if you use a lossless format you gain loads

  • Re: Beo's Future ?

I don't see a problem. It is what is to be expected while they shed all the legacy stuff (including ML). I'm glad they're killing off those old products. It would be nice if they simultanously updated/revised the Encore, killed off the BM5, and came out with more, modern TVs than the BV11. They should also update the BL5s with a more capable DAC, and perhaps introduce a DAC to the BL9s. With that said, I'm not really a fan of the BeoPlay products. I think they're mostly catering

The future? My thinking is that they will upgrade the firmware in the BS5 Encore, ditch the BM5/BS5 combo entirely, and focus on networking. I really don't see the Loewe iPad edition (if it comes) to mean anything. Apple isn't exactly venturing into untrodden territory here. Smart TVs are the defacto standard on new tellies, and you can use an iPad/iphone with most smart TVs these days anyway. I may well be in the minority here, but I really don't care much about televisions and their

Well, I, for one, enjoyed your post. A bit anal to keep a written log, ha ha, but great post nonetheless.
this is so funny :)) £ 6,700 and you can not use beolink app because works with Android 4.0 :)))
LOL; I agree. The irony is thick in that one. But on the other hand, a person willing to pay that amount for a phone will probably not blink at buying an iPhone to use solely as a remote.

  • Re: Minimalism Lifsetyles

I think that the key to minimalism, besides not having a lot of things, is to have ways of hiding the titbits needed (afterall) in everyday life. Places to hide keys, shoes, coats, bills, phone charger etc..
