Hi Michael, Thanks a lot for this, very helpful! Its a typical Scandinavian wooden townhouse, newly built. The issue I think is that the router from the ISP just is not very good for wifi, they offered to sell another newer wifi router because I dont get a good connection on the top floor. They offered that to all the new neighbours..... Anyway, I always hear everyone say to go the mesh network route with B&O as its more stable but then I got lost in the options Pro vs HD. I did look at the Amplify

Hi Michael, Great show yesterday as always, I have to resort to downloading with YouTube and catching them whilst commuting which works well Quick question, just moved to a new house and I want to upgrade the network. I am not up to speed on the mesh network thing. Just had a look ubiquiti in the store which you guys mention a lot, not sure what exactly I need here? The house is 3 floors and currently there is the ISP router (fiber) on the ground plus an ethernet connection in the living room on

  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

I like the design from the front but, if you look at the techradar article, the back is a monstrosity. The mounting stand mechanism is super thick and literally just hacked onto a C9. It would of at least been nice if they had taken the Eclipse approach and gone for more of a consistent look at the back. Given the recent company troubles, I really dont see the logic in releasing anything over 65" as its quite clear that the super high end market strategy is not working for them. Generally speaking

Hi Michael, Hope all is well. I have not been around for awhile, work and two small children takes up a lot of time I am all caught up on the latest from you guys, really enjoying it. Some good banter! The only thing I would suggest is, only if it makes sense, to have a downloadable podcast version. The episodes are quite long and it would be easier to catch them on the go, I rarely have time to catch them live. In terms of topics: latest rumours is always fun, I think a session on alternatives to

[quote user="Mikipedia"] @ Ammier Was that the s8 connection hub? if so that's very unfortunate, because I was thinking in the back of my head that you could always get one of those, if your tv doesn't have a surround processor, and have 4x bl5 just in stereo. that still would've been an awesome setup :p Your experience sounds very similar to mine unfortunately as in ''it's the customers fault until we find out it's our fault all along''. I don't

Hi Michael, Its not a bad idea, I was thinking stereo but for what you can get the 5´s for these days, 4 in surround would be cool. We are moving into a new build so ill see the actual living room some time in the summer. Will make a decision then If its any consolation and I have mentioned this on the forum before, when I bought my 20s which were an upgrade from 9s, I bought a connection hub and every time I triggered spotify or a samsung tv app I got a massive static kickback noice. It was

Hi Michael, Erik and Willie, Just wanted to thank you all for answering my questions. Caught part of it yesterday and just watched the rest. @Michael, name pronunciation was spot on the second time, the non-French sounding . By the way have you tried plugging in a core to your 50´s instead of the Eclipse just to check that the latter is not the source of your clicking, I cant recall if you said you did in your warranty video. I am going to park the 5´s option for now. Considering the

Hi Guys, Really enjoyed the last few podcasts so well done!! A few questions: First one is for Michael: Can you talk about how the the 50´s perform without the use of the center speaker on the Eclipse. Willie mentioned, last week, thats how he used the the tv with the 90´s and I was just wondering how they performed, do the manage well with speaking. The reason I ask is I only use Bang & Olufsen speakers with 3rd party tvs, just a personal preference, and dont normally use a center

  • Re: Final Edition Beolab 5 and Beolab 3

Hi everyone, Thinking of pulling the trigger on some Final edition 5's with the polished aluminium and in parisian blue. Would be upgrading from a pair of 20's. Got a good price from someone who bought ex-demo and is now moving on to some 50's. Its been awhile since I heard them, will again before purchase. Moving from an apartment to a house next year, so will store them for a little if I go ahead. Would really appreciate any opinions on whether this is a good upgrade? 50's out of
