  • Re: Beoplay v1

I dont know who started the rumour about the V1 40" being phased out. The 32" was stopped because of lack of panels. The 40" is still on sale and still appears in the newest price lists. All TVs are phased out at some point. Starting a rumor about the 40" when the time frame is unknown is just silly! With that being said I think it would be a mistake to stop making a Beoplay TV. The only reason I've started buying some B&O products (i.e. not Beoplay) is because of my TV

The new iOS update to 8.3 should improve Bluetooth performance. Looking forward to hearing about any changes in real life performance with the H8 :)

  • Re: HP and B&O

I bought a HP with Beats audio back when they just started their partnership. The sound from the speakers is fine, not great not bad. But I was extremely disappointed with the noise isolation of the mini jack-output. There is a constant hiss which is really annoying, specialliy at night when playing at lower volumes. I don't not if this has been addressed in newer laptops with Beats (mine is from 2011). But I surely hope that B&O (or Beoplay) branded laptops wont suffer from the same issue

  • Re: Battery life Beolit 15

I've only briefly used the Beolit 15. Played at a party at about 60-70% volume for 10 hours straight before it gave up. The volume wasn't so loud that you couldn't speak together but so low that the party went dead. Would say that above 50% was bass heavy music. I was quite impressed! But that being said; I have the same experience with the A2 when played at near maximum volume. the battery life is reduced to a few hours.

  • Re: Rolling 90th Anniversary Celebrations around the world

I went to my local dealer, and it was a nice evening, but nothing new. Some finger food and drinks, and a live performance using 2x Beolab 20. Was really impressed by the way the speakers filled the room. They had all of the new rose gold products except for the Avant. I think the A9 is great, cant speak of the Avant, the Beolab 18's are too much if you ask me, and the rest of rose gold series is okay, but hard to fit in my living room style. It did seem like the new remote is a bit heavier in

  • Re: 0% USA financing?!

The offer has been available in Denmark for quite some time though! We are talking a few years. I bought my first products with 0% financing over 1 year. The time frame was flexible. In Denmark the financing is done through an external partner. If it is a success I would suspect them to extend the offer just like they did in Denmark.

  • Re: Beoplay V1 - panel update

I grew up with a analog B&O TV and a Beosound 3000 + 2 Beolab 6000. The inter-connectablilty between the products was never used, so I knew B&O but never really knew the full capability of the systems. But I too bought the V1 as my first B&O product. Which since has led to the purchases of a Beolab 14.4, Beoplay A9 and a Beoplay A2. [quote user="Paul W"] I think the mistake for the V1 was its H U G E price. £2500 is crazy for basically a £500 picture TV with good

  • Re: Beoplay V1 - panel update

The V1 is used as an entry level product to showcase what B&O is all about. So leaving out the BS4 would be a huge mistake if you ask me. If the V1 didn't have the BS4 then I would have never bought a Beolab14.4 and probably wouldn't even consider buying a true B&O TV. The V1 has become more expensive has the marked has dropped in price. When the V1 was released it wasn't that much more expensive than any other high end LCD.
