  • Re: Advice on Buying BV 10-40

I bought my BV 10-40 about 7 years ago and it is going strong and is superb. Great sound and picture, and I am really happy with it. I have it on the wall and in my humble view it looks beautiful! Good luck and happy viewing, whatever you buy.

  • Re: Streaming Help

I've just bought a Moment and it is absolutely superb. I've messed around with various streaming options but the Moment, for me, has been by far the best way to curate and enjoy music and radio services. Deezer works really well. I have a Core too but got really tired of fiddling around with my phone to access the B&0 app. Best wishes.

  • Re: Beosound Moment - very happy

I've got an Ouverture and a BL3500 masterlinked to the BV10 already so I would have to get a junction box and fiddle around with adding the convertor to the mix. My Moment currently routes through the Core and through the Aux input on the Ouverture.

In my blissful ignorance, I do not even know what the problem is with the Moodwheel! Mine seems to work, or at least works to my satisfaction. It's great to be able to play a random selection of music according to my mood/environment. Is there some widely reported problem with the function?

Thanks but I don't know what that would add to what I have now. I hit N-Music on the Beo4 and then use the Moment. I can select speaker 1-5 via the Beo4. Happy days.

  • Beosound Moment - very happy

More of an expression of contentment than a question really but I have just bought a Beosound Moment and connected it to my BV10 speakers via my Core. It is a massive improvement from using my phone/ipad for streaming music. I really like the interface on the Moment. It feels like a wholesome, pure Bang & Olsen experience now, from Moment to Speaker, with no fiddling around with a phone. And I love the look of the Moment, completely beats having an iPad lying around, or on a stand. Great device

  • Re: Moment and Core

Problem sorted, I think. Connect the Moment to the Core via the Core's Line In input. The Core is already connected to the Ouverture via the Ouverture's aux socket. A solution I am told!

Got it. Thank you. Yes, an opportunity missed perhaps.

  • Re: Moment and Core

Thank you! That answers the question very simply. It will not work. How disappointing. I don't understand how an iPad or mobile phone can 'talk' to the Core and yet the B&O jukebox cannot. I suppose it is to do with the app is it? The iPad/phone is running the app and that serves as the command for the Core; and the jukebox is lacking that app feature.

  • Re: Moment and Core

So are you saying that if you, for example, select a radio station on the Moment, you cannot stream that to the Core? That is what I mean by 'control', that is to say, the Moment directing music to the Core, and my Core then handling the rest (playing it through my BV10).
