Re: The love has gone. B&O TVs no longer value for money second hand...
FWIW, my BV 8-32 is a very very good tv. The only reason I didnt trade up to a 7-40 was objections from my wife on the space it would take up. I had an avant for a short period of time and loved it. After years of watching japanese tvs, the B&O has a lovely soft image and is great to look at. Yes you can buy the latest and greatest, but I find a lot of recent screens to be quite harsh, image wise, and I like the fact its a bit different as well. I think in the mass market, there seems to be kudos

Re: Display on 7007 - missing pixels
Thanks for your helping one question I have is which model machines could supply a donor display? Im assuming perhaps that ( for example ) a donor display might be common across several systems? Any suggestions welcome..... ;-)

Re: workbench in an apartment ?, yes possible
Well I *loved* the thunderbirds....6:30am on Saturday morning tv. Now i Have a DVD of them but watch its sparingly as I dont want to spoil it. Blowing stuff up with crackers....another harmless thing outlawed by the australian "Fun Stasi"...I worry so many kids have no exposure to anything that resembles fun or a challenge. The whole computer gaming thing isn't real, its a sim at best IMHO. On matters "real" - I defy any yound lad not to be enthralled by a full size steam

S50 re-foam supplier - need recommendation please
Hello, I am re-foaming my S50 speakers ( the foam ring is perished, but still sound good...) and need the name of a good supplier for these items. The total cost is only about 7 euros, but I want to keep the speaker sound as close to original as possible. I found these people http://www.speakerrepairshop.com/index.php?action=page&group_id=10000013&lang=EN but dont know anything about the stuff they sell. If anyone knows other reputable suppliers I'd welcome your thoughts/experinces. Also
