• Re: MCL2AV Adapter

Thanks Guy, I am already using that as a workaround for one of the MCLAVs. Now I lost another adapter.... Need to check the polarity when I find a suitable adapter

  • MCL2AV Adapter

Hi, My well served AC/DC adapters for MCL2AV's are dying one by one. Obviously no spares are available. Will any 15V AC/DC adapter do or is there something I need to take into account? The output info of the old one is 15V 300mA/4.5VA (Made By DVE type DV1430UP) Thanks Mico

  • Re: Beosound 9000MKIII and MCL2P

Thanks, tried and found a solution. Not perfect but a workaround anyway. Routing through BL2 does not seem to work at all. If the MCL2P is directly connected to the BS with a MKI cable and BL2 with a separate PL cable I get a working solution. Mark II cable did not work, though tried it only to connect the MCL2P with CX100s to the BL2.

  • Beosound 9000MKIII and MCL2P

hello all, I need temporarily to connect analogue speakers to my BS9000. I have a spare MCL2P and CX100s plus several types of PL-cables available If I connect a BL2 to the BS it works fine but the MCL2P and both CXs are mute. If I connect the MCL2P directly to the BS it stops responding to the remote totally Does BS9000 work with MCL2P at all? If it should work, what I am possibly doing wrong?

  • Re: Beolab 12-3 or Beolab 3 ? Which the speaker has better sound ?

To start with - I do not have Lab 3:s (perhaps in the future..). But I do have Lab 12-3´s and several pairs of Lab 4000´s all wall mounted. To my taste Lab 12-3´s were so thin in bass that I needed to get a Lab 11 to fulfil the scene. With the Lab 4000´s I have never felt deficiency in bass. I was able to to compare Lab 12-3´s with ceiling mounted RL 60.2's in the same room and the latter was a clear winner. Lab 12-3's supported by a Lab 11 were a winner with

  • Re: Connectivity between Beolab Penta IIs and a Beocenter 9000

hello, Best way to connect BC9000 and BL Penta II´s is to use speakerlink cables. They look a little like Din ones but have three pins. I´m not sure if they are still available from dealers. This way you get the displays working as well. B/R, Mikko
Does anybody have issues with pm dropping off from their devices my iPhone keep losing pm when it is on standby? Thanks Vince
I do. What kind of setup do you have otherwise? This sounds like a network issue. I'm having Aplle Time Capsule (1gen) as the Wifi router. Line in seems to be working fine, but Airplay only occasionally. Have your resolved the issue already? Mikko

  • Re: Playmaker refuses to connect to TimeCapsule

Thank you fellows, Tried the encryption with no success. The answer was deeper in the Time Capsule settings (probably affects all other same generation Apple base stations as well). I needed to deselect 802.11n 2.4 GHz only and select 802 b/g compatibility instead. Why? No idea but now it works! I'm not using the TC as a media server, only as a WiFi base station.
