  • Re: AV9000 keeps turning itself off!

Well the powersupply from the other AV9000 worked perfectly a few months ago. I don't think the problem lies there. What I'm wondering is if there are any components on the other boards that can cause this problem? Thanks! I am not very experienced with TV:s, but that I know! I always discharge the picture tube properly and disconnect the tv!

Thank you very much for your advice! I have now checked the original power supply again and re-soldered all of the high voltage components and capacitors. Again, I saw no bad soldering or burn-marks on the power supply, but I re soldered the components just to be sure. I replaced the power supply that i had borrowed from the other AV9000 and it seemed to work... Or... that's what I tought! The same problem is back, it turns itself off after approximately 5-10 minutes the first time I start it

  • AV9000 keeps turning itself off!

Hello Beoworld! I have a Beosystem AV9000 from 1995 that I really like and It has been working without a problem for many years. But now it's started to turn itself off every 5-10 minutes. It just dies, leaving the curtains open. When I try to start it again it remains operational for another 5 minutes and then it dies again. I checked the error code and it says last error was B6 (which means nothing to me). But I suspected that the cause may be the power supply, so I replaced it with one from

  • Can't option program MCL2AV

Hi! I have a MCL system with four link rooms and one main room. I have programmed both of my MCL2A link boxes to option 1. But when I try to program the MCL2AV boxes to Option 1 it's not working and the link eye does not blink. I use Beolink 1000 with the following command: Power off, Link, 1, Store What am I doing wrong? The reason why I wan't to do this is because now the MCL2AV boxes is in Option 2 and they start my Beomaster in AUX mode when I start the local Beovisions in the link room

  • I want more SCART-inputs for my Beovision!

Hi, I have a 1995 Beosystem AV 9000. Like most Beovisions from that era it has only two SCART sockets. I have five different video game systems (classic consoles) plus the AV9000 V-Tape recorder that I use. My problem is that every time I want to play a different source, I have to change the cables . I have tried different SCART expanders, both those who just expands the number of SCART-sockets and the ones with switches on them. But both of them create some kind of disturbance, because when I connect

That one looks almost like the one I have tried, except mine has no remote. If you have tried this one, is it working well?

  • Re: What Master Link option?

Thanks for the help! I know the Master Panel doesn't have an own ir reciever like the overture and the others. The reason why I'm asking about the masterlink option is because i can't get my Beolink 7000 to work two-way with the audio sources. It did at first, but after I removed and added components on it, i only get two-way communication for my video sources. Otherwise my AV9000 system works perfectly. After checking the ML Option it was set to V.OPT 2 and the Master Panel AV9000 does

  • What Master Link option?

Hi, I have a Beosystem AV9000 together with the Master Panel AV9000. I Wonder what Mater Link option i shall use. The Master Panel AV9000 is connected trough a Master Link cable and is standing in the same room. Also, do I set one option, like option 2 for the entire system or do I have to set separate options for the audio/video system? Thanks!
