  • Re: Beoplay E8 (first edition I presume)

Dear moxxey (and everybody else, in case I have made a mistake with the model number): I mean these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bang-Olufsen-Wireless-Bluetooth-Earphones-Black/dp/B07L18F6T1/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=beoplay+e8&qid=1575482321&sr=8-7

Hi everyone: In which case let me restate the intention behind my message. Lots of my assertions might be based on half truths or things that I have come to think over the years, not, as someone pointed out above, what a 12 year old would think. Okay I repair/act as an agent for the repair of phones iphones as a sideline and I have a Mac Pro cheese grater. Thus I am not a Mac hater but I do feel that some of their stuff is style over substance and that they aren't always great. I am not in the

  • Beoplay E8 (first edition I presume)

Dear all: It has been a while since I have posted on here. My daughter wanted some Airpods for Christmas/birthday and I was reluctant due to the price tag and the way they look i.e. horrible in my opinion. Would the headphones above be a good substitute or not really? There are some refurb ones available for £99 and I would rather get these if they are truly better. I have older Bang & Olufsen equipment and love it, specifically a Beovision 5. Also, I don't like playing into the brand

  • Re: Beovision 5 won't power on after power cut

Hi Lee: Turns out despite disabling the pin code feature, the power cut reinstated it. Quick call to B & O and master code provided. Thanks Graham

  • Beovision 5 won't power on after power cut

Dear all: Please note I am not in-front of the unit and won't be until the weekend so I am unsure what the issue is at the moment. All I know is that the TV will not switch back on. Is there a common/easy thing to look into - perhaps a fuse or something? Thanks Graham

  • Masterlink for dummies (or me)

Hi all: If there is something/somewhere I can go to read about this properly, please let me know, if not could you please answer these questions for me: I don't really understand what Masterlink does - is it like Sky Multiroom before Sky Multiroom and if so does it push the image from the main TV or source to other sources that you want it to run to? I am looking at getting a Beovision 6 and this will be my bedroom TV. I have a non-HD Beovision 5 which is my main TV but as the 6 has DVD/radio

  • Beovision 5 general questions

Dear all: I used to be a regular (perhaps too regular) contributor on here and since acquiring a Beovision 5 in December, it is likely I am going to be back. I really like this TV, picked up a nice unit in Leicester and I haven't looked back. The sound is amazing and as long as you aren't sitting a foot away from it the picture looks brilliant (or good enough) for me. My questions are as follows: 1. Mine is on the floor stand/base that makes the TV lean backwards slightly. Does it only have

  • Beovision 10? and Will

Can anybody advise on this: Neighbour has the Beovision pictured. I thought it was a Beovision 10 but now I am not so sure and neither is neighbour. I believe it is LCD and is about 3 years old. Anyway, trying to connect Wii to it via a scart adaptor which appears to convert from an S Video socket. Anyway static colour picture that does not move at all, it seems that it crashes. HDMI adaptor when plugged into Wii and HDMI socket on TV just creates a blank picture. I assume via composite some sort

  • Beovision 5

Hi everyone: It has been a while. I am after a Beovision 5 because I would like to get into b & o again and like the physical look of these units. To be honest this is most likely not to be used for TV as I don't watch TV but do use Netflix etc. Apart from not being HD are there any good reasons for not getting one? Thanks Graham
